OSEA’s Legislative Education Day (LED) is the best opportunity for members to speak with legislators face-to-face about the issues facing Oregon’s schools and workers today. CLICK HERE to register now! Our personal stories can change decision-makers hearts and minds in a way lobbyists cannot. LED will kick off on Sunday, March 5, with a day of trainings and special guest speakers, followed by member meetings with legislators and more on Monday, March 6. All LED participants should plan to attend the Sunday training, which will prepare you for meeting with legislators to discuss the issues affecting education workers in Oregon. OSEA will provide time release (for those regularly scheduled to work on Monday), meals, mileage and lodging for members participating in LED. You must register by noon on Feb. 1 to secure lodging.
